During the holiday season, many people have chosen to be a little bit more jovial and more cheerful. These are the times to be merry because we have conquered another year.
However, this atmosphere allows for one to spot those who decide to remain angry all of the time. Instead of basking in the glow of Christmas, some people choose to keep their faces scrunched up into a scowl. These are people that have selected to keep themselves oppressed by the emotion known as anger.
At times, anger is beneficial when anger propels one to react positively when presented with an unfavorable circumstance. For example, mediocrity angers me, but I use that anger to impart the same wisdom that I have utilized to overcome neutrality into others so that they no longer have to remain mired in the same mundane daily routine for the rest of their lives.
A person should not choose to be angry all of the time because anger is only one of the many emotions that each human being possesses. Staying trapped in anger instead of operating in other emotions like love, joy, peace, and happiness is a huge red flag.
The reason why you need to be wary of an angry person is that a person that is constantly angry will eventually act out upon that anger. You do not want to be around when an angry person loses total self-control. That anger turns into fury. Those angry thoughts will eventually be acted upon. A person will always act out upon what he or she visualizes. Instead of always thinking about the worst that could happen, think about what you could do to make things better.
Also, you do not want to be influenced by the habits of an angry person. If you are always around an angry person, then you will eventually become an angry person as well. Remember that bad influences will always drag down the person that chooses to be influenced. Beware of angry people!
Being calm around an angry person will not influence the angry person to change. The angry person has to make a rational decision to no longer remain in anger.
