Once again, I delve into numerics by dealing with the symbolism of the number eight. The number eight represents new beginnings. For example, seven days are in a week, which concurs with the number seven representing perfection and completion. The number seven was expounded upon a couple of weeks ago on this ezine titled ‘Heart & Soul.’
The eighth day starts a brand new week. Therefore, a new beginning occurs after a week is completed. Another example would be the symbol for infinity: a sideways eight. The realm of infinity brings about an endless array of new beginnings within this earthly realm of mortality.
Throughout modern history, there has been eight major world empires: Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Roman, British, and American. The new beginning will manifest upon this earth once the American empire falls by the wayside like its predecessors.
However, the science of gematria reveals another aspect of the number eight that is unseen by the natural eye. Utilizing the Greek alphanumeric capabilities, the word “Iesous” (Iota-epsilon-sigma-omicron-upsilon-sigma) totals 888.
This word appears to bring about new beginnings in all three facets of human beings: spirit, soul, and body. Translating “Iesous” from Greek to English gives us the word Jesus. From the realm of spirituality, Jesus is the only One that is mathematically proven to bring new beginnings to your entire being.
As we all know, the number six hundred sixty-six is known as the number of the “Antichrist.” Some people absolutely avoid this number like the plague, but there is something very simple that you can remember that will eliminate fear of this number. A simple mathematical equation of 888 being greater than 666 will give you a reminder that good will always have spiritual authority over evil.
