Clik here to view.Have you ever imagined how nice it would be to have “staff?” That you could have assistants like the boss does at work? Wouldn’t you be pleased to have an extra hand to get things done, another mind to come up with a plan, someone who might even be smarter than you and who made great decisions?
Of course you would, and you can have it right now.
We all have angels who are willing and waiting to be asked for help. The important part of this, though, is that you have to ask. They can’t help you without a request because humans have free will and angels aren’t allowed to interfere. Even though you might think they can “see” the problem, you still must ask. They can only run interference if your life is in danger and it is not your time to go yet.
Many of us have wished for the perfect parking space in front of a store, or that traffic would clear, or the traffic light would change. Angels, though, can do so much more for us than be traffic cops. They can help you with just about everything in your life.
I’m sure you have heard of meditations for connecting with your angels, but you don’t need an involved ritual to communicate with them. Just talk to them like they were right in the room with you because – actually — they are. Don’t tell me you can’t see them. That doesn’t matter. They are there, regardless. I talk to mine all the time in the car to smooth my way, to make it safe, and that I have a nice trip. I talk to them like I am talking with a girlfriend – and always with respect and gratitude. I might talk out the problem with them if I haven’t fully figured out what is needed, but once I come up with the idea, you can bet I quickly get to the request part of the equation.
I ask the angels to help me with just about anything, and you can, too. Here’s a suggestion, and it’s also a way to be convinced of the existence of your celestial helpers. When you make your “To-Do” list for the day, draw a vertical line down the middle of the paper. On the left side, write the heading “Me” and on the other side write the words “Angel Help.” Then, create your list and when you think of things that are difficult, put it on the side under the “Angel Help” heading. Get started on your side of the list and forget about the other side; don’t worry or wonder about it. That doesn’t mean you won’t do it. The projects just aren’t going to be the first things you do.
At the end of the day you will find that when it came time to do the activities in the right column, suddenly, they were easier; you found what you needed, a person offered a good suggestion, the difficult person was actually nice, or the project was easier than you thought it would be. That is the angels doing their part to answer your requests for help, and they are glad to do it.
There are times when I’m doing projects around my home and I don’t have the strength to turn something, or I can’t get a good angle with my tool because I’m working over my head. In these situations, when I’m at my wits end and ready to quit, I ask (usually, vehemently at this point) for help, my next attempt at whatever wasn’t working, suddenly works. When I can’t find an item that I need in a store, I’ll ask the angels to help me find it. I’ve asked the angels if I could get a discount on a purchase, or score difficult-to-find tickets; but don’t ask for lottery numbers. They don’t do lottery numbers, or horse races, either.
In short, there’s very little they won’t do for you, and please realize that you’re not taking them away from more important duties. Do you know how many angels there are? Uncountable. There are so many that they are probably wondering when you’ll stop bumbling through things and ask them for help. They are looking for work.
Will it be instant gratification? Probably not, but sometimes it’s pretty close. Ask and release your anxiety around the problem. The angels will take it from there. To illustrate: I was moving from my apartment by myself. It took much longer than I had anticipated. At the end of the day I was exhausted, sore, and didn’t think I had the strength to finish loading the car of the few boxes that remained. I was ready to cry. I sat down on the floor and desperately asked the angels for help. A few minutes later, the cleaning people showed up to do the move-out clean. Instantly, they sized up the situation and said they would help with whatever I needed in order to be completely done with the apartment. Strangers – service people — who had never met me. People who were there to do a specific service expecting to be paid. People who had other places to be after they were done with my apartment.
Finally, I was still ready to cry, but this time it was because the angels had come through for me in a big way. See? They are there. Just try it.
